What is SpecialCircle?

SpecialCircle is a peer-support community designed specifically for parents and caregivers of children with special needs, disabilities, and rare conditions. We believe that every parent navigating this journey deserves to feel understood - not just by professionals, but by other parents who truly get it.

Whether your child has just been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Rett syndrome, epilepsy, or any one of thousands of rare conditions, SpecialCircle connects you with families who share your exact experience - organised by condition, age group, and location. No cold forums. No chaotic Facebook groups. Just real conversations with real parents.

Our platform lets you ask questions anonymously, share wins, discover local resources, access parent-friendly research summaries, and find a buddy mentor who has walked the path before you. We believe knowledge shared between parents is one of the most powerful forces in a family's journey.

The Research Library

SpecialCircle also provides a free Research Library - a growing collection of parent-friendly summaries of peer-reviewed studies, clinical trial updates, and medical guidelines. Every summary is drawn from trusted sources including PubMed, NIH, FDA, ClinicalTrials.gov, and leading medical journals.

Our research digests explain complex science in plain language, highlight why it may matter to your family, suggest questions to ask your doctor, and are always clear that they are educational information - not medical advice.
